Our PILLARS
01
STRATEGY
How do we keep the team focused on the organization’s top priorities?
How do we engage the board in our most critical goals?
How can we better communicate our mission and purpose?
How do we know when it’s time to implement a new program or service or when we should say no?
02
PEOPLE
How do I navigate this conflict with a board member without alienating them?
Do I give my underperforming staff person even more coaching? Or is it time to let them go?
How do I respond to a funder who wants us to expand our services further, when we barely have the bandwidth to manage what we have?
How do I keep board members excited and engaged while helping them understand it’s not productive to have our staff chase down every new idea?
03
OPERATIONS
How am I going to meet all my deadlines when new fires keep popping up?
How is our team going to manage this project launch, when everyone is already stretched to capacity?
How can we meet our funding partner’s expectations to increase program services when our team is already working as hard as they can?
How can we tame the chaos in this program and get everyone better aligned and working more efficiently?
04
FINANCES AND MONEY
How do we get out of this cycle of barely making payroll and struggling to meet our core expenses?
How do we shift from surviving month-to-month to ensuring financial security for tomorrow?
Where do we find the resources to help us grow and to allow us to invest in the areas that will make us better and stronger in the future?
How can I build a budget that meets the evolving demands of staff, community, and board?
